there that are just outrageous right they just do crazy shit Calum von Moger
kind of an adventurous guy he's rock climbing the YouTube channel guys that
don't even compete totally different changed everything considering I never missed
the Arnold Classic since 1989 I've watched that evolution I was there when rich
Gaspari won that with 2,000 fans and 24 athletes and of course last year we
celebrated the 30th anniversary and there was twenty two thousand a states
200,000 fans over a four-day period Wow I've been him seeing the amateurs for
the past five six years where it has about 700 800 athletes in it so I've
watched it evolve and I've watched like you said the influx of these nameless
faceless million follower type millennial guys influencers in influencers and I
can tell you they're doing a very good job that's why their lines are long and
people have asked me don't you feel like you know nobody's recognizing you and
I don't walk into these shows looking to be recognized even though that's my
domain that's where I come from these guys have worked very hard to be
recognized and they put those shoutouts come to my booths come visit me and
these guys line up whatever it is they're selling they love it and more power
to them because th
ey're taking control of that little market it's giving everybody an opportunity to get piece of the pie whereas for the bodybuilder most of us are kind of throwbacks we just want a body build and eat our chicken and rice and kind of do it like our parents you know we don't want to know how to work the phone we just want one that works right like my mom I just need one to be able to dial I go my mom you can check your email you can you know you can actually watch a video and I'll Alpha Testo Boost just give me one that there's not one that calls now do you think because of that the politics though and you knowing the politics and bodybuilding do you think that that's gonna start to influence how they judge no you don't think so no because I mean there's still a process of learning how to judge and once you once you're in as a judge you're pretty much a judge for life unless there's some bad indiscretions that you're involved in judging a physique contest is not like rocket science but once you're qualified to do it you there's a whole lot that has to take place to get that conspiracy effect that we want that guy for this reason none of those judges are making any money off of mr. Olympia for example I always kind of had a conspiracy theory but my conspiracy theory coming up in the 90s was listen I would only have an opportunity to win if I have different opinions why am I being force-fed the same judges if we have all these judges that are qualified and we're only having 12 judged Olympia why is it the only 12 the judge
